Overview
Sinkd is a dice game stat tracking app for regular games, tournaments, leagues, friends, achievements, rankings, and notifications. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By using Sinkd, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address and login provider.
- Profile information you choose to add, including nickname, preferred partner, cup color, and notes.
- Game and stat information, including scores, wins, losses, sinks, tinks, table hits, field goals, FIFAs, self sinks, achievements, rankings, and game history.
- League information, including league name, description, logo colors, membership, roles, invites, roster data, rankings, league chat messages, and league game logs.
- Friend information, including friend requests, accepted friends, invite emails, and display names.
- Notification information, including league invites, friend requests, achievement unlocks, personal updates, read status, and timestamps.
- Device/browser information that may be collected automatically by hosting, authentication, database, or analytics infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and basic logs.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage accounts.
- To save profiles, stats, game history, achievements, rankings, friends, leagues, and notifications.
- To sync league data across users and phones.
- To let league owners, co-leaders, refs, and members use the correct league permissions.
- To send or show in-app notifications for achievements, friend requests, league invites, and updates about you.
- To maintain, debug, secure, and improve the app.
Local Data vs Cloud Data
Some app data is stored locally on your device, such as local player lists, regular games, big games, tournament data, and local profile stats. Local data may not sync across devices.
League data is stored in a shared cloud database so league members can see synced rosters, league games, rankings, stats, invites, and league chat updates.
Sharing With Other Users
Information you add to a league may be visible to other league members, including your nickname, cup color, role, league stats, achievements, rankings, and league game history. Friend requests and league invites may show your nickname, display name, or email to the other person.
Service Providers
Sinkd uses third-party services to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication/database services, Netlify for hosting, and Google sign-in if you use Google authentication. These providers may process information according to their own privacy practices.
Notifications
Sinkd may show in-app notifications for friend requests, league invites, achievements, and updates about you. Browser or phone notification popups require device/browser permission. Notification records are automatically cleared after a short period so your inbox stays current.
Your Choices
- You can edit your profile information in My Profile.
- You can delete local players from Settings unless the name is tied to My Profile.
- You can leave leagues if you are not the owner.
- League owners and co-leaders may manage league members and league data.
- You can decline notification popups when the app asks for permission.
- You can request that account or cloud data be removed by contacting the app owner.
Data Security
Sinkd uses account authentication and database access rules to help protect cloud data. No system is perfect, so do not add sensitive personal information to profiles, notes, league descriptions, or game logs.
Children
Sinkd is not intended for children. If users apply house penalties or legal-age activities while playing, they are responsible for following local laws and using the app responsibly.
Responsible Use
Sinkd does not require or encourage unsafe behavior. Use the app as a stat tracker, follow local laws, and make responsible choices during gameplay.
Changes To This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Sinkd changes. Updates will be posted in the app. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated policy.
